Courtesy Call by Yayasan Pengguna Negara Malaysia, Wilayah Sarawak to Sibu Rural District Council

Yayasan Pengguna Negara Malaysia, Wilayah Sarawak had made a “Courtesy Call” on 31st October, 2025 led by our YPNM Sarawak Chairman Mr. Daren Ling, Secretary cum YPNM Kuching Chairman Mr. Jimmy Ling and YPNM Sibu Vice Chairman Mr. Godwin Ling to meet up with Sibu Rural District Council ~ SRDC Chairman Cr. Sempurai Petrus Ngelai in order to have joint discussion in strengthening bilateral relationship between us as well as providing our fullest co-operation to the Sibu Rural District Council to propose organising our “Karnival Kebajikan, Kesihatan & Kerjaya Pengguna Sarawak”.
Yayasan Pengguna Negara Malaysia, Wilayah Sarawak is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) established with the objective of protecting consumers’ rights from fraud and abuse, safeguarding the welfare, safety and health of consumers, preserving the environment and public facilities. This carnival is part of the organization’s charitable efforts to directly benefit the community.
In line with these functions and roles, YPNM Sarawak would like to organise the “SARAWAK CONSUMER WELFARE, HEALTH & CAREER CARNIVAL” as an integrated platform that brings together government, private and community agencies to improve the well-being of the people through access to health services, career opportunities and consumer education.
The carnival also provides FREE Health Check-up services, Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) registration and Senior Citizen Health Benefit (SCHB) to make it easier for senior citizens to obtain the benefits provided by the state government.
In addition, the carnival also features an Industry Attachment Training program that offers *FREE training for 12 months in the fields of Hospitality, Beauty and Air-Cond Technical. The programme includes an International Professional Certificate, monthly allowance, accommodation as well as a job guarantee after the completion of the training.
