YPNM Sarawak Courtesy Visit to KPDNHEP Sarawak

Kuching, 9th August 2022

Yayasan Pengguna Negara Malaysia (YPNM) Sarawak’s Branch had made a “Kunjung Hormat” on 9th August, 2022 led by our Sarawak Chairman Mr. Daren Ling together with Mr. Jimmy Ling (Secretary Sarawak), Mr. Melson Chai (Treasurer Sarawak) and Mr. Clifford Tiong (Vice Chairman, YPNM Kuching) to meet up with Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna, Sarawak Acting Pengarah, Tuan Peter J. Berinus Agang together with Tuan Robin Anak Emerson Empurai, in order to have joint discussion in strengthening bilateral relationship between us as well as providing our fullest co-operation to the Ministry in implementing their policies. We have a very fruitful discussion whereby we have touched on several current issues especially online scams and high inflation faced by Sarawakian.

We having a view of joint collaboration to organize more seminar(s) for archive our YPNM Sarawak mission “Education”, “Transformation” and “Implemention” in order to change our Sarawak’s Consumer become Smart Consumer as YPNM Sarawak had successfully organise our “Cabaran Pengguna Dalam Pelaburan” on 28 July, 2022 at Kingwood Hotel, Sibu with 300 participants.
KPDNHEP Acting Pengarah, Tuan Peter also hope YPNM Sarawak can work together with Ministry to archive for their mission of “Digitalisasi Pengguna” in Sarawak.
